Pilate said to them, "Then what shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?"They all said, "Let him be crucified!"

Pilate addressed them once more, desiring to release Jesus,

Now it was the day of Preparation of the Passover. It was about the sixth hour. He said to the Jews, "Behold your King!"

And as soon as it was morning, the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole Council. And they bound Jesus and led him away and delivered him over to Pilate.

And those who went before and those who followed were shouting, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!

For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

"Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

saying, "Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him."

"Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Behold, your king is coming to you, humble, and mounted on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.'"

And they began to accuse him, saying, "We found this man misleading our nation and forbidding us to give tribute to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Christ, a king."

God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
