The Lord has removed the judgment against you; he has turned back your enemy. Israel's king, the Lord, is in your midst! You no longer need to fear disaster.

Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Look! Your king is coming to you: he is legitimate and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey -- on a young donkey, the foal of a female donkey.

Nathanael answered him, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel!"

So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him. They began to shout, "Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the king of Israel!"

From this point on, Pilate tried to release him. But the Jewish leaders shouted out, "If you release this man, you are no friend of Caesar! Everyone who claims to be a king opposes Caesar!"

The other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he replied, "Unless I see the wounds from the nails in his hands, and put my finger into the wounds from the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe it!"

What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God?

They have strayed from the truth by saying that the resurrection has already occurred, and they are undermining some people's faith.

And

The robbers who were crucified with him also spoke abusively to him.

One of the criminals who was hanging there railed at him, saying, "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!"
