Now Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joseph observed where the body had been laid.

Now there were women watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of young James and Joseph, and Salome.

When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices to go and anoint Jesus.

but Mary Magdalene and the other Mary remained there, sitting in front of the tomb.

After the Sabbaths, around dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to take a look at the burial site.

So the women who had come with Jesus from Galilee, following close behind, saw the tomb and how his body was laid.
