A Man With A Withered Hand Healed
2 And they were watching Him, if He will heal him on the Sabbath, that they might accuse Him.

2 The people watched Jesus closely to see whether he would heal him on the Sabbath, intending to accuse him of doing something wrong.
4 And He says to them; Is it lawful to do good or to do evil on the Sabbath; to save life, or to kill? And they were silent.
4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
4 And He *said to them, “Is it lawful to do good or to do harm on the Sabbath, to save a life or to kill?” But they kept silent.
4 Then He said to them, “Is it lawful(H) on the Sabbath to do what is good(I) or to do what is evil,(J) to save life(K) or to kill?”(L) But they were silent.(M)
4 Then he asked them, "Is it lawful to do good or to do evil on Sabbath days, to save a life or to destroy it?" But they remained silent.
5 And looking round on them with indignation, being grieved over the hardness of their hearts, He says to the man; Reach forth thy hand. And he reached it forth and it was restored.
5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

5 Jesus looked around at them in anger, deeply hurt because of their hard hearts. Then he told the man, "Hold out your hand." The man held it out, and his hand was restored to health.
6 And the Pharisees, having gone out immediately along with the Herodians, took counsel against Him in order that they might kill Him.
6 And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.

Jesus Heals Crowds By The Sea
7 And Jesus departed with His disciples to the sea: and a great multitude followed Him from Galilee, and from Judea,

8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and from beyond the Jordan, and those about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, hearing so many things that He was doing, came to Him.
8 And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.
8 and from Jerusalem, and from (I)Idumea, and beyond the Jordan, and the vicinity of (J)Tyre and Sidon, a great number of people heard of all that He was doing and came to Him.

8 Jerusalem, Idumea, from across the Jordan, and from the region around Tyre and Sidon followed him. They came to him because they kept hearing about everything he was doing.
9 And He said to His disciples, that a little boat should wait on Him in order that they may not tread on Him.
9 And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.
9 (K)And He told His disciples that a boat should stand ready for Him because of the crowd, so that they would not crowd Him;

10 For He healed many; so that they were falling before Him so that they might touch Him, so many as had diseases.

10 because he had healed so many people that everyone who had diseases kept crowding up against him in order to touch him.
11 And unclean spirits, when they saw Him, fell down before Him, and were crying out, saying, Thou art the Son of God.

A House Divided Cannot Stand
20 And He comes into a house; and the multitude come together again so they are not able to eat bread.
20 And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
20 And He *came (h)(T)home, and the (U)crowd *gathered again, (V)to such an extent that they could not even eat (i)a meal.
20 Then he went home. Such a large crowd gathered again that Jesus and his disciples couldn't even eat.
21 And those along with Him hearing came out to arrest Him: for they continued to say, He is beside Himself.
21 And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.
21 When (W)His own (j)people heard of this, they went out to take custody of Him; for they were saying, “(X)He has lost His senses.”
21 When His family(BA) heard this, they set out to restrain Him, because they said, “He’s out of His mind.”(BB)
21 When his family heard about it, they went to restrain him, because they kept saying, "He's out of his mind!"
22 And the scribes having come down from Jerusalem were saving, He has Beelzebul and He is casting out the demons through the prince of the demons.
22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.
22 The scribes who came down (Y)from Jerusalem were saying, “He is possessed by (k)(Z)Beelzebul,” and “(AA)He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons.”
22 The scribes(BC) who had come down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebul(BD) in Him!” and, “He drives out(BE) demons(BF) by the ruler(BG) of the demons!”(BH)
22 The scribes who had come down from Jerusalem kept repeating, "He has Beelzebul," and, "He drives out demons by the ruler of demons."
23 And calling them to Him, He continued to speak to them in parables, How is Satan able to cast out Satan?
23 And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?

25 and if a house may be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand;

27 “On the other hand, no one can enter a strong man’s house and rob his possessions unless he first ties up(BN) the strong man. Then he will rob his house.

28 Truly I say unto you, that all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies whatsoever they may blaspheme:
28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
28 “(AG)Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter;

29 but whosoever may blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is subject of eternal condemnation.

31 And His mother and His brothers come; and standing without, sent to Him, calling Him.
