Mark 4:13

Then he asked: Do you not understand this illustration? How will you understand any of the illustrations?

I reprove and discipline those whom I love: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Listen to the illustration of the sower.

Have you understood all these things? They said to him: Yes.

Then Peter said to him: Make the story clear to us.

Hearing this, Jesus said: You of little faith, why are you reasoning among yourselves about not having bread?

When he entered the house away from the crowd his disciples asked him to explain.

Now the illustration is this: The seed is the word of God.

He said to them: You are foolish men. You are slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

Brothers, I was not able to speak to you as to spiritual men, but as fleshly men, as babes (infants) in Christ.

We have many things to say about him and it is hard to explain it to you, for you are dull of hearing (slow to learn).

And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

Evil men do not understand justice. Those who seek Jehovah understand all things.

He replied: Do you not understand? Do you not know that which goes into the man from the outside cannot defile him?
