And without a parable He spake not to them; but privately to His disciples He explained all things.
"These things have I spoken to you in proverbs. An hour is coming, when I will no more speak to you in proverbs, but will tell you plainly of the Father.
Then, leaving the multitudes, He went into the house; and His disciples came to Him, saying, "Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field."
And Peter, answering, said to Him, "Explain to us the parable."
And, when He was alone, those who were about Him with the twelve asked Him as to the parables.
And, beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, He thoroughly interpreted to them, in all the Scriptures, the things concerning Himself.
And, when He entered into the house from the multitude, His disciples asked of Him the parable.
And His disciples were asking Him, what this parable might be.
And He said to them, "These are My words which I spake to you, while being yet with you: that all things must be fulfilled, that have been written in the law of Moses, and the prophets, and the Psalms, concerning Me."
