Pharisees Demand A Sign

¹⁰ And He at once got into the boat and crossed to the district of Dalmanutha. ¹¹ Now the Pharisees came out and began a discussion with Him, and to test Him asked Him to show them a spectacular sign from heaven. ¹² But He sighed in spirit and said, "Why do the people of these times ask for a spectacular sign? I solemnly say, no sign at all will be given them."

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered Him as follows: "Teacher, we would like to see a spectacular sign given by you."

Now the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, and so they had a meeting.
