Mark 9:28

And [after] he had entered into the house, his disciples asked him privately, "Why were we not able to expel it?"

And when he entered into the house away from the crowd, his disciples asked him about the parable.

And the disciples came up [and] said to him, "{Why} do you speak to them in parables?"

Then he left the crowds [and] came into the house, and his disciples came to him saying, "Explain the parable of the darnel in the field to us."

But Peter answered [and] said to him, "Explain this parable to us."

Then the disciples approached Jesus privately [and] said, {Why} were we not able to expel it?"

And when he was alone, those around him together with the twelve began asking him about the parables.

And he did not speak to them without a parable, but in private he explained everything to his own disciples.
