Solomon was the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, Abijah the father of Asa,

1 Kings 11:43-24

He died and was buried in David's City. His son Rehoboam succeeded him as king.

1 Kings 14:31

Rehoboam went to rest with his fathers, and was buried with them in the city of David. His mother's name was Naamah, an Ammonite woman. And Abijam his son became king in his place.

Abijah slept in death with his ancestors and was buried in the City of David. His son Asa succeeded him as king. In Asa's time the land had peace for ten years.
