It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

But the Pharisees said, "By the ruler of the demons He is casting out the demons."

But the Pharisees, hearing it, said, "This Man doth not cast out the demons, except by Beelzebub, prince of the demons."

And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, "He hath Beelzebub, and by the ruler of the demons casteth out the demons."

But some of them said, "By Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons, He is casting out the demons."

The multitude answered, "Thou hast a demon: who is seeking to kill you!"

The Jews answered and said to Him, "Say we not well that Thou art a Samaritan, and hast a demon?"

And many of them said, "He hath a demon, and is mad; why do ye hear Him?"
