² And many multitudes were gathered to him, so as for him (having entered in) to sit in the boat, and all the multitude had stood on the shore. ³ And he spoke many things to them in parables, saying, Behold, the man who sows went forth to sow. ⁴ And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them.
