The Parable Of The Sower

² such great crowds gathered round him, that he got into a boat, and sat in it, while all the people stood upon the beach. ³ Then he told them many truths in parables. "The sower," he began, "went out to sow; and, ⁴ As he was sowing, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up.
