and went and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: to fulfill that which was spoken by the Prophets, "He shall be called a Nazarite."

And he departed thence, and came into his own country, and his disciples followed him.

And he came to Nazareth where he was nursed, and as his custom was, went into the synagogue on the Sabbath days, and stood up for to read.

He came among his own, and his own received him not.

I will declare thy name unto my brethren; in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

I will preach of thy righteousness in the great congregation: Lo, I will not refrain my lips, O LORD, and that thou knowest.

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, "It was meet that the word of God should first have been preached to you. But seeing ye put it from you, and think yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the gentiles.

And it fortuned, after three days, that Paul called the chief of the Jews together. And when they were come, he said unto them, "Men and brethren, though I have committed no thing against the people, or laws of our fathers: yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.
