Of this be sure, that if the good man of the house knew what hour the thief would come: he would surely watch, and not suffer his house to be broken up.
And if he come in the second watch, yea, if he come in the third watch, and shall find them so, happy are those servants.

Walking

He, himself, alone, spreadeth out the heavens, and goeth upon the waves of the sea.
The floods are risen, O LORD. The floods have lift up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.
who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters, and maketh the clouds thy chariot, and walketh upon the wings of the wind.
and he saw them troubled in rowing, for the wind was contrary unto them. And about the fourth quarter of the night, he came unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.
And when they had rowed about a twenty five or a thirty furlongs, they saw Jesus walk on the sea, and to draw nigh unto the ship, and they were afraid.
And he had in his hand a little book open: and he put his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth.
