But ye say, 'Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, That by which you might be profited by me is an offering,'

"Woe to you, blind guides, who say, 'Whosoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!'

For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother,' and 'He that speaks evil of father or mother, let him surely die.'

But Peter and John, answering, said to them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to hearken to you, rather than to God, judge ye;
