Jesus Predicts His Death And Resurrection A Second Time

²² While they were going about in Galilee, Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be turned over into the hands of men, ²³  and they will kill Him, but on the third day He will be raised again." And they were crushed with grief. ²⁴ When they reached Capernaum, the collectors of the temple tax came to Peter and asked, "Does your Teacher pay the temple tax?"

Matthew 16:21

It was just after that that Jesus Christ for the first time clearly taught His disciples that He had to go to Jerusalem and submit to many forms of suffering at the hands of the elders, high priests, and scribes, and be killed, but be raised to life on the third day.

Mark 8:31
