When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

And unless those days should be shortened, no flesh would be saved. But for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened.

And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved. But for the elect's sake, whom He has chosen, He has shortened the days.

And one said to Him, Lord, are the ones being saved few? And He said to them,

For everyone, "whoever shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Even so then, also in this present time a remnant according to the election of grace has come into being.

It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich one to enter into the kingdom of God.

And leaving all, he rose up and followed Him.
