For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a householder which went out early in the morning to hire laborers into his vineyard.
Solomon had a vineyard at Baalhamon; this vineyard delivered he unto the keepers, that every one for the fruit thereof should give him a thousand pieces of silver.
Another similitude put he forth, unto them saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like unto a man which sowed good seed in his field.
Now will I sing my beloved friend a song of his vineyard. My beloved friend hath a vineyard in a very fruitful plenteous ground.
"From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, unto this present day, that is even the twenty third year, the word of the LORD hath been committed unto me. And so I have spoken to you. I have risen up early, I have given you warning in season, but ye would not hear me.

Another similitude said he to them, "The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven which a woman taketh and hideth in three pecks of meal, till all be leavened."
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in the field, the which a man findeth and hideth it: and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net cast into the sea, that gathereth of all kinds:

Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went to meet the bridegroom:

As a man which is gone into a strange country and hath left his house, and given authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
Therefore, my dear brethren, be ye steadfast and unmovable, always rich in the works of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know how that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
