Jesus Predicts Their Punishment

32 Fill up the (guilt) measure of your fathers. 33 You serpents, you brood of vipers, how will you escape the sentence of hell? 34 Look! I am sending you prophets, wise men, and scribes. Some of them you will torture and kill. Others you will torment and persecute from city to city.
