Persecution Of Disciples Predicted

¹⁰ And then shall many be offended and shall betray one another and shall hate one another. ¹¹ Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. ¹² And because lawlessness shall abound, the charity of many shall wax cold.

False Prophets

Matthew 7:15

Keep yourselves also from the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 24:24

For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders in such a manner that they shall deceive, if possible, the very elect.

Matthew 24:5

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and shall deceive many.

Mark 13:22

for false Christs and false prophets shall rise and shall show signs and wonders to seduce, if possible, even the elect.
