He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.

So they called the man that was blind a second time, and said to him: Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.

If any man hears my sayings and does not obey them I will not judge him. I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

Seeing the man who was healed standing with them, they had nothing to say in reply.

A sign was placed above his head with an accusation written: This is Jesus the King of the Jews.

They asked: Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and came to offer him praise.

They said: Blessed is the King that comes in the name of Jehovah! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest heaven! (Psalms 118:26; 134:3)

Nathanael answered: Rabbi you are the Son of God. You are King of Israel.

When the wicked comes contempt also comes. Dishonor brings reproach.

I have become the laughingstock of all the peoples. I am their mocking song all the day.

Let us therefore go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.
