And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

And the curtain of the sanctuary was torn in two, from top to bottom.

as the sun was in eclipse. And the curtain before the sanctuary was torn in two.

But now through your union with Christ Jesus you who were once far away have through the blood of Christ been brought near.

This hope is like an anchor for our souls. It reaches up secure and strong into the sanctuary behind the heavenly curtain,

Since then, brothers, we have free access to the sanctuary through the blood of Jesus,

And the curtain of the sanctuary was torn in two, from top to bottom.

And he answered, "I tell you, if they keep silence, the stones will cry out!"

Afterward I saw the temple, that is, the tent of the testimony, thrown open in heaven,
