And there were there many women beholding from afar off, who had followed Jesus from Galilee ministering to him,

and certain women who had been healed of wicked spirits and infirmities, Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,

And a great multitude of the people, and of women who wailed and lamented him, followed him.

And all the crowds who had come together to that sight, having seen the things that took place, returned, beating their breasts.

And by the cross of Jesus stood his mother, and the sister of his mother, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala.
