Matthew 5:15

Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.

And he said to them, "Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand?

"No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light.

"No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a stand, that those who come in may see the light.
