It would be best for you to lose one part of your body, and not to have the whole of it go down to the Pit. 31 It was also said--'Let any one who divorces his wife serve her with a notice of separation.' 32 I, however, say to you that any one who divorces his wife, except on the ground of her unchastity, leads to her committing adultery; while any one who marries her after her divorce is guilty of adultery.
