Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

So by their fruit you will know them."

"Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree rotten and its fruit rotten, because a tree is known by its fruit.

especially those who satisfy their flesh by indulging in its passions and who despise authority.

Whatever these people do not understand, they slander. Like irrational animals, they are destroyed by the very things they know by instinct.

"A good tree doesn't produce rotten fruit, and a rotten tree doesn't produce good fruit,

My brothers, a fig tree cannot produce olives, nor a grapevine figs, can it? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.

Even a child is known by his actions, whether his deeds are pure and right.

So by their fruit you will know them."
