But Jesus answering said to him, Suffer it now; for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffers him.

Think not that I am come to make void the law or the prophets; I am not come to make void, but to fulfil.

When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising or a scab, or bright spot, and it become in the skin of his flesh a sore as of leprosy, then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests.

This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: he shall be brought unto the priest,

Jehovah had delight in him for his righteousness' sake: he hath magnified the law, and made it honourable.

And seeing them he said to them, Go, shew yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass as they were going they were cleansed.

For

and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.

And it came to pass when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his garments, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man sends to me to cure a man of his leprosy? Wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeks an occasion against me.

And whatsoever place shall not receive you nor hear you, departing thence, shake off the dust which is under your feet for a testimony to them.

But ye, take heed to yourselves, for they shall deliver you up to sanhedrims and to synagogues: ye shall be beaten and brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them;
