And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.

While He was reclining at the table in Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were also guests

with Jesus and His disciples, because there were many who were following Him.

Then Levi hosted a grand banquet for Him at his house. Now there was a large crowd of tax collectors and others who were guests with them.

For if you love those who love you, what reward will you have? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same?

We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He listens to him.

one who was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an arrogant man. But I received mercy because I acted out of ignorance in unbelief.
