And it came to pass, when they fled from before Israel, they, being on the slope of Beth-horon, that, Yahweh, cast down upon them great stones out of the heavens, as far as Azekah, and they died, - more, were they who died by the hailstones, than they whom the sons of Israel slew with the sword.
And the Philistines gathered together their hosts, unto battle, and they were gathered together unto Socoh, which belongeth unto Judah, - and they encamped between Socoh and Azekah in Ephes-dammim;
when, the force of the king of Babylon, was fighting against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, - against Lachish and against Azekah, for they, remained among the cities of Judah as fortified cities.
