And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject unto us in thy name.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Then calling his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of weakness.

and heal the sick that are therein and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come near unto you.

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons; freely ye have received, freely give.

After these things the Lord appointed another seventy also and sent them two by two before his face into every city and place where he himself would come.

And these signs shall follow those that believe: In my name they shall cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take away serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands upon the sick, and they shall be healed.

While Peter yet spoke these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word. And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, that also on the Gentiles the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out. For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered,

And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.
