Nehemiah 10:32

Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God;

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me, I will surely give the tenth to thee.

Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first-fruits of all thy increase:

And when they had come to Capernaum, they that received tribute-money, came to Peter, and said, Doth not your Master pay tribute?

For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what a man hath, and not according to what he hath not.
