And cover not their iniquity, and let not their sin be blotted out from before thee: for they have provoked thee to anger before the builders.

Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness;

According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions.

“I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake,
And I will not remember your sins.

“I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud
And your sins like a heavy mist.

Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”

Then Eliakim and Shebna and Joah said to Rabshakeh, “Speak now to your servants in Aramaic, for we understand it; and do not speak with us in
