And whoever does not receive you, nor hear your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake off the dust from your feet.

Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.

Make vows to the LORD your God, and fulfill them. Let all of his neighbors bring presents to him who is to be feared.

I have sworn, and have confirmed it, that I will obey your righteous ordinances.

It is better that you should not vow, than that you should vow and not pay.
