But even before they burned the fat, the servant of the priest would come and say to the person offering the sacrifice, "Give me meat to roast for the priest. He won't accept boiled meat from you, but only raw."

He will take a tenth of your seed and your vineyards and give it to his officers and servants.

Hallelujah! How happy is the person who fears the LORD, who truly delights in his commandments.

But the LORD is pleased with those who fear him, with those who depend on his gracious love.

Iniquity is atoned for by gracious love and truth, and through fear of the LORD people turn from evil.

Let the conclusion of all of these thoughts be heard: Fear God and obey his commandments, for this is what it means to be human.

Who among you fears the LORD, obeying the voice of his servant, who among you walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD, and rely upon his God.
