Nehemiah 6:5

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

Then sent Sanballat his servant unto me in like manner the fifth time with an open letter in his hand;

in order that Satan might gain no advantage over us; for we are not ignorant of his schemes.

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

Put on the full armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

and with all the deception of wickedness for those who are to perish, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
