Of Judah, Nahshon, son of Amminadab;

of Jesse, of Obed, of Boaz, - of Salmon, of Nashon:

And they who encamp eastwards towards sunrise, shall he the standard of the camp of Judah by their hosts, - even the prince of the sons of Judah, Nashon, son of Ammi-nadab;

And so it was, that, he who on the first day, offered his oblation, - was Nahshon son of Amminadab of the tribe of Judah;

So the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah set forward first, by their hosts, and over his own host, was Nahshon, son of Amminadab;

These, then, are the generations of Perez: Perez, begat, Hezron;

And, Amminadab, begat Nahshon, and, Nahshon, begat, Salmon,

And, Ram, begat Amminadab, - and, Amminadab, begat Nahshon, leader of the sons of Judah.

Abraham begat Isaac, and Isaac begat Jacob, and Jacob, begat Judah and his brethren;
