49 “Do not register or take a census of the tribe of Levi with the other Israelites.

50 And thou, set the Levites over the dwelling of testimony, and over all its vessels, and over all which is to it: they shall lift up the dwelling and all its vessels, and they shall serve it, and they shall encamp round about the dwelling.

50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.

51 And in the removing of the dwelling the Levites shall take it down, and in pitching the dwelling, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger coming near shall die.

51 And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

51 (AD)So when the tabernacle is to set out, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle encamps, the Levites shall set it up. But (AE)the (g)layman who comes near shall be put to death.

51 Whenever the tabernacle is to move, the Levites are to take it down, and whenever it is to stop at a campsite, the Levites are to set it up. Any unauthorized person who comes near it must be put to death.(R)

51 Whenever the tent is ready for travel, the descendants of Levi are to take it down. When it's time to encamp, the descendants of Levi are to set it up. Any unauthorized person who approaches it is to be executed.

52 And the sons of Israel encamped each by his camp, and each by his flag for their warfare.

52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.

52 (AF)The sons of Israel shall camp, each man by his own camp, and each man by his own standard, according to their armies.

52 “The Israelites are to camp by their military divisions, each man with his encampment and under his banner.

52 Then the Israelis are to encamp around the tent, arranged according to their company and the standard of their army.

53 And the Levites shall encamp round about the dwelling of testimony; and there shall not be anger upon the assembly of the sons of Israel: and the Levites shall watch the watch of the dwelling of testimony.

53 But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.

53 (AG)But the Levites shall camp around the tabernacle of the testimony, so that there will be (AH)no wrath on the congregation of the sons of Israel. (AI)So the Levites shall keep charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.”

53 The Levites are to camp around the tabernacle of the testimony and watch over it, so that no wrath will fall on the Israelite community.”(S)

53 But the descendants of Levi are to encamp on all sides of the Tent of Meeting so that divine wrath won't fall on the congregation of Israel. The descendants of Levi are to take care of the Tent of Meeting."

54 And the sons of Israel shall do according to all which Jehovah commanded Moses; so did they.

54 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

54 Thus the sons of Israel did; according to all which the Lord had commanded Moses, so they did.

54 The Israelites did everything just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

54 The Israelis observed everything that the LORD had commanded Moses, doing exactly what they were told.
