Numbers 22:28

Jehovah gave the donkey the power of speech. The donkey said to Balaam: What have I done to you? Why have you beaten me these three times?

He was rebuked for his own transgression. A beast of burden spoke with a man's voice and restrained (hindered) the madness of the prophet.

Jehovah said to him: Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes him mute or deaf, or seeing or blind? Is it not I, Jehovah?

When God speaks, these things are possible.

For we know that the whole creation groans and is in pain together until now.

It is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. (Isaiah 29:14)
