The Second Census

⁵² And the Lord said to Moses, ⁵³ Let there be a division of the land among these, for their heritage, in relation to the number of names. ⁵⁴ To those families who are more in number, give a greater heritage; to those who are less in number, a smaller part: to every one let the heritage be given in relation to the number in his family.

Joshua 11:23

So Joshua took all the land, as the Lord had said to Moses; and Joshua gave it to the children of Israel as their heritage, making division of it among them by their tribes. And the land had rest from war.
