Numbers 26:55

The Second Census

⁵⁴ To the many thou shall give more inheritance, and to the few thou shall give less inheritance: to each one according to those who were numbered of him shall his inheritance be given. ⁵⁵ Notwithstanding, the land shall be divided by lot. They shall inherit according to the names of the tribes of their fathers. ⁵⁶ According to the lot their inheritance shall be divided between the many and the fewer.
