Daily Sacrifice

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my bread for my sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.

2 “Command the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘You shall (a)be careful to present My offering, My (A)food for My offerings by fire, of a soothing aroma to Me, at their appointed time.’

2 “Command the Israelites and say to them: Be sure to present to Me at its appointed time My offering and My food(A) as My fire offering, a pleasing aroma to Me.

2 "You are to command the Israelis about my offerings that they are to be sure to bring edible offerings to me, presented by fire, and a pleasing aroma to me, at their appointed time.

2 “Command the Israelites and say to them, ‘You shall be careful to present at its appointed time [during the year] My offering, My food for My offerings by fire as a sweet and soothing aroma to Me.’

3 And thou shalt say unto them, This is the offering made by fire which ye shall offer unto the LORD; two lambs of the first year without spot day by day, for a continual burnt offering.

3 (B)You shall say to them, ‘This is the offering by fire which you shall offer to the Lord: two male lambs one year old without defect as a continual burnt offering every day.

3 And say to them: This is the fire offering you are to present to the Lord:(B)“Each day present two unblemished year-old male lambs as a regular burnt offering.

3 Tell them that this is the offering, presented by fire, that you are to offer to the LORD: two one year old lambs, offered daily every day.

3 You shall say to the people, ‘This is the offering by fire which you shall present to the Lord every day: two male lambs one year old without blemish as a continual burnt offering.

Daily Offerings

4 The one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and the other lamb shalt thou offer at even;

4 You shall offer the one lamb in the morning and the other lamb you shall offer (b)at twilight;

4 Offer one lamb in the morning and the other lamb at twilight,

4 Offer the first lamb in the morning and the second toward the evening,

4 You shall offer one lamb in the morning and you shall offer the other lamb at twilight,

5 And a tenth part of an ephah of flour for a meat offering, mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil.

5 also (C)a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a (D)grain offering, mixed with a fourth of a hin of beaten oil.

5 along with two quarts(a) of fine flour for a grain offering mixed with a quart(b) of olive oil from crushed olives.(C)

5 accompanied by one tenth of an ephah of fine flour for grain offering, mixed with one fourth of a hin of pure olive oil.

5 also a tenth of an ephah of finely-milled flour as a grain offering, mixed with a fourth of a hin of pressed oil.

6 It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.

6 It is a continual burnt offering which was ordained in Mount Sinai as a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the Lord.

6 It is a regular burnt offering established at Mount Sinai for a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the Lord.

6 This burnt offering, which was prescribed at Mount Sinai, is to be offered every day as a pleasing aroma made by fire to the LORD.

6 It is a continual burnt offering which was ordained on Mount Sinai as a sweet and soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the Lord.

7 And the drink offering thereof shall be the fourth part of an hin for the one lamb: in the holy place shalt thou cause the strong wine to be poured unto the LORD for a drink offering.

7 Then the drink offering with it shall be a fourth of a hin for each lamb, (E)in the holy place you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the Lord.

7 The drink offering is to be a quart(c) with each lamb. Pour out the offering of beer to the Lord in the sanctuary area.

7 "The drink offering is to be one fourth of a hin for each lamb. You are to pour out a drink offering of strong wine to the LORD in the Holy Place.

7 Its drink offering shall be a fourth of a hin for each lamb, in the holy place you shall pour out a strong drink offering to the Lord.

8 And the other lamb shalt thou offer at even: as the meat offering of the morning, and as the drink offering thereof, thou shalt offer it, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

8 The other lamb you shall offer (c)at twilight; as the grain offering of the morning and as its drink offering, you shall offer it, an offering by fire, a soothing aroma to the Lord.

8 Offer the second lamb at twilight, along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering as in the morning. It is a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

8 You are also to offer the second lamb toward the evening. Just like the morning sacrifice, you are to present the grain offering, accompanied by its corresponding drink offering, as a presentation made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD."

8 The other lamb you shall offer at twilight; as the grain offering of the morning and as its drink offering, you shall offer it, an offering by fire, a sweet and soothing aroma to the Lord.

Sabbath Offerings

9 And on the sabbath day two lambs of the first year without spot, and two tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and the drink offering thereof:

9 ‘Then on the sabbath day two male lambs one year old without defect, and two-tenths of an (d)ephah of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering, and its drink offering:

9 “On the Sabbath day present two unblemished year-old male lambs, four quarts(d) of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering, and its drink offering.

9 "Every Sabbath day, you are to offer two one year old lambs without any defects with two tenths of an ephah of fine flour for grain offering, mixed with olive oil, along with their corresponding drink offering.

9 ‘Then on the Sabbath day two male lambs one year old without blemish, and two-tenths [of an ephah] of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering, and its drink offering.

10 This is the burnt offering of every sabbath, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

10 This is the burnt offering of every sabbath in addition to the (F)continual burnt offering and its drink offering.

10 It is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.

10 This burnt offering is to be presented every Sabbath, as well as the regular burnt offering, along with its corresponding drink offering."

10 This is the burnt offering of every Sabbath, in addition to the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.

Monthly Offerings

11 And in the beginnings of your months ye shall offer a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot;

11 ‘Then (G)at the beginning of each of your months you shall present a burnt offering to the Lord: two (e)bulls and one ram, seven male lambs one year old without defect;

11 “At the beginning of each of your months present a burnt offering to the Lord: two young bulls, one ram, seven male lambs a year old—all unblemished—

11 "On the first day of each month, you are to offer a burnt offering to the LORD consisting of two young bulls, one ram, and seven one year old lambs, all of them without any defects,

11 ‘Then at the beginning of [each of] your months you shall present a burnt offering to the Lord: two bulls, one ram, seven male lambs one year old without blemish;

12 And three tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one bullock; and two tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one ram;

12 (H)and three-tenths of an (f)ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, for each bull; and two-tenths of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, for the one ram;

12 with six quarts(e) of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for each bull, four quarts(f) of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for the ram,

12 along with three tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with olive oil, for each bull, two tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with olive oil, for the one ram,

12 and three-tenths [of an ephah] of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering, for each bull; and two-tenths [of an ephah] of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering, for the one ram;

13 And a several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil for a meat offering unto one lamb; for a burnt offering of a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.

13 and a tenth of an (g)ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a grain offering for each lamb, for a burnt offering of a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the Lord.

13 and two quarts(g) of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for each lamb. It is a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the Lord.

13 and one tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering for each lamb. This burnt offering will be a pleasing aroma, incinerated as an offering to the LORD.

13 and a tenth [of an ephah] of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for each lamb, as a burnt offering of a sweet and soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the Lord.

14 And their drink offerings shall be half an hin of wine unto a bullock, and the third part of an hin unto a ram, and a fourth part of an hin unto a lamb: this is the burnt offering of every month throughout the months of the year.

14 Their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull and a third of a hin for the ram and a fourth of a hin for a lamb; this is the burnt offering of each month throughout the months of the year.

14 Their drink offerings are to be two quarts(h) of wine with each bull, one and a third quarts(i) with the ram, and one quart(j) with each male lamb. This is the monthly burnt offering for all the months of the year.

14 Their drink offerings are to be half a hin of wine for each bull, one third of a hin for the ram, and one fourth of a hin for each lamb. This burnt offering is to be presented each and every month throughout the year.

14 Their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull, and a third of a hin for a ram, and a fourth of a hin for a lamb. This is the burnt offering of each month throughout the months of the year.

15 And one kid of the goats for a sin offering unto the LORD shall be offered, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

15 And one male goat for a sin offering to the Lord; it shall be offered with its drink offering in addition to the (I)continual burnt offering.

15 And one male goat is to be offered as a sin offering to the Lord, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its drink offering.

15 One goat is to be offered at regular intervals as a sin offering to the LORD, accompanied by its corresponding drink offering."

15 And one male goat as a sin offering to the Lord; it shall be offered with its drink offering in addition to the continual burnt offering.

Passover Offerings

16 And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of the LORD.

16 (J)Then on the fourteenth day of the first month shall be the Lord’s Passover.

16 “The Passover(D) to the Lord comes in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month.

16 "The LORD's Passover is to take place on the fourteenth day of the first month.

16 ‘The Lord’s Passover shall be on the fourteenth day of the first month [of each year].

17 And in the fifteenth day of this month is the feast: seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.

17 (K)On the fifteenth day of this month shall be a (L)feast, unleavened bread shall be eaten for seven days.

17 On the fifteenth day of this month there will be a festival; unleavened bread is to be eaten for seven days.

17 You are to hold a festival on the fifteenth day of this month for seven days, during which time unleavened bread is to be eaten."

17 There shall be a feast on the fifteenth day of this month; unleavened bread shall be eaten for seven days.

18 In the first day shall be an holy convocation; ye shall do no manner of servile work therein:

18 On the (M)first day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work.

18 On the first day there is to be a sacred assembly; you are not to do any daily work.(E)

18 "On the first day, you are to hold a sacred assembly. No servile work is to be done.

18 On the first day there shall be a holy [summoned] assembly; you shall do no laborious work that day.

19 But ye shall offer a sacrifice made by fire for a burnt offering unto the LORD; two young bullocks, and one ram, and seven lambs of the first year: they shall be unto you without blemish:

19 You shall present an offering by fire, a burnt offering to the Lord: two (h)bulls and one ram and seven male lambs one year old, (N)having them without defect.

19 Present a fire offering, a burnt offering to the Lord: two young bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old. Your animals are to be unblemished.

19 Bring an offering that is to be incinerated in the LORD's presence, consisting of two young bulls, a ram, and seven one year old lambs, all without any defects,

19 But you shall present an offering by fire, a burnt offering to the Lord: two bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs one year old, without blemish.

20 And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil: three tenth deals shall ye offer for a bullock, and two tenth deals for a ram;

20 For their grain offering, you shall offer fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an (i)ephah for a bull and two-tenths for the ram.

20 The grain offering with them is to be of fine flour mixed with oil; offer six quarts(k) with each bull and four quarts(l) with the ram.

20 along with their grain offering of fine flour mixed with olive oil. Offer three tenths of an ephah for each bull, two tenths of an ephah for the ram,

20 For their grain offering you shall offer fine flour mixed with oil; three-tenths [of an ephah] for the bull, and two-tenths for the ram;

21 A several tenth deal shalt thou offer for every lamb, throughout the seven lambs:

21 A tenth of an (j)ephah you shall offer for (k)each of the seven lambs;

21 Offer two quarts(m) with each of the seven lambs

21 and one tenth of an ephah for each of the seven lambs.

21 you shall offer a tenth [of an ephah] for each of the seven male lambs;

22 And one goat for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you.

22 and one male goat for a (O)sin offering to make atonement for you.

22 and one male goat for a sin offering to make atonement for yourselves.

22 Then present one goat for a sin offering to make atonement for you,

22 and one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for you.

23 Ye shall offer these beside the burnt offering in the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering.

23 You shall present these besides (P)the burnt offering of the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering.

23 Offer these with the morning burnt offering that is part of the regular burnt offering.

23 apart from the burnt offering in the morning, which you are to continue offering.

23 You shall present these in addition to the burnt offering of the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering.

24 After this manner ye shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meat of the sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

24 After this manner you shall present daily, for seven days, (Q)the food of the offering by fire, of a soothing aroma to the Lord; it shall be presented with its drink offering in addition to the (R)continual burnt offering.

24 You are to offer the same food each day for seven days as a fire offering,(F) a pleasing aroma to the Lord. It is to be offered with its drink offering and the regular burnt offering.

24 Do this every day for seven days, as an edible sacrifice to the LORD made by fire, a pleasing aroma. It is to be offered apart from the regular burnt offering and its corresponding drink offering.

24 In this way you shall present daily, for seven days, the food of the offering by fire, a sweet and soothing aroma to the Lord; it shall be presented with its drink offering in addition to the continual burnt offering.

25 And on the seventh day ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.

25 On the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation; (S)you shall do no laborious work.

25 On the seventh day you are to hold a sacred assembly; you are not to do any daily work.

25 On the seventh day you are to hold another sacred assembly for your benefit, on which no servile work is to be done."

25 On the seventh day you shall have a holy [summoned] assembly; you shall do no laborious work.

Offerings For The Festival Of Weeks

26 Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto the LORD, after your weeks be out, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:

26 ‘Also on (T)the day of the first fruits, when you present a new grain offering to the Lord in your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation; (U)you shall do no laborious work.

26 “On the day of firstfruits, you are to hold a sacred assembly when you present an offering of new grain to the Lord at your Festival of Weeks;(G) you are not to do any daily work.

26 "On the first day of your harvest season, you are to hold a sacred assembly when you present your first fruits during the Festival of Weeks. No servile work is to be done.

26 ‘Also on the day of the first fruits, when you offer a new grain offering to the Lord at your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy [summoned] assembly; you shall do no laborious work.

27 But ye shall offer the burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD; two young bullocks, one ram, seven lambs of the first year;

27 You shall offer a burnt offering for a soothing aroma to the Lord: two young bulls, one ram, seven male lambs one year old;

27 Present a burnt offering for a pleasing aroma to the Lord: two young bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old,

27 You are to offer this burnt offering as a pleasing aroma to the LORD: two young bulls, one ram, and seven one year old lambs,

27 You shall present the burnt offering as a sweet and soothing aroma to the Lord: two young bulls, one ram, seven male lambs one year old;

28 And their meat offering of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals unto one bullock, two tenth deals unto one ram,

28 and their grain offering, fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an (l)ephah for each bull, two-tenths for the one ram,

28 with their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, six quarts(n) with each bull, four quarts(o) with the ram,

28 along with their corresponding grain offerings of fine flour mixed with olive oil; specifically, three tenths of an ephah for each bull, two tenths of an ephah for the one ram,

28 and their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil; three-tenths [of an ephah] for each bull, two-tenths for the one ram,

29 A several tenth deal unto one lamb, throughout the seven lambs;

29 a tenth for (m)each of the seven lambs;

29 and two quarts(p) with each of the seven lambs,

29 one tenth of an ephah for each of the seven lambs,

29 a tenth for each of the seven male lambs,

30 And one kid of the goats, to make an atonement for you.

30 also one male goat to make atonement for you.

30 and one male goat to make atonement for yourselves.

30 and one goat to make atonement for you.

30 and one male goat to make atonement for you.

31 Ye shall offer them beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering, (they shall be unto you without blemish) and their drink offerings.

31 (V)Besides the continual burnt offering and its grain offering, you shall present them with their drink offerings. They shall be (n)without defect.

31 Offer them with their drink offerings in addition to the regular burnt offering and its grain offering. Your animals are to be unblemished.

31 Offer them in addition to the regular burnt offering, accompanied by its grain offering and its corresponding drink offerings."

31 In addition to the continual burnt offering and its grain offering, you shall present them with their drink offerings. They shall be without blemish.
