I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

We are therefore ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making his appeal through us. We beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

Working together with him, then, we urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called,

I urge you all the more to do this so that I may be restored to you the sooner.

Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against your soul.

For this reason I, Paul, am the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles
