The angel spoke to them: Do not be afraid. Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy to all the people.

They continued daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house. They ate their food with gladness and singleness of heart.

There was great joy in that city.

How will they preach unless they have been sent? Just as it is written: How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace and who bring good tidings of good things! We ask you, brothers, to appreciate those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you.

Obey those who lead you. Submit to them: for they watch in behalf of your lives and must account for this. Obey them that their work may be a joy and not a burden; that would be without gain for you.

Hold such in reputation

They honored us with many gifts. When we were going to set sail, they put whatever we needed on board.

For they have refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore acknowledge them.

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and in teaching.
