How to be

For I think that God has placed us apostles last as men appointed to death. We are made a spectacle to the world, and to angels, and to men.

In everything we commend ourselves, as ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

Now I Paul myself entreat you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who in your presence am lowly among you, but being absent am of good courage toward you.

Or did I commit a sin in abasing myself that you might be exalted, because I preached to you the good news of God without charge?

I was given a painful physical ailment that will keep me from being puffed up with pride because of the many wonderful things I saw. It acts as Satan's messenger to beat me and keep me from being proud.

I am

He found his people in a desert land, in a barren place where animals howl. He guarded them, took care of them, and protected them because they were the precious apple (pupil) of his eye.

You gave your good Spirit to be their teacher. You did not hold back your manna from their mouths. You gave them water when they had need of it.

This is what Jehovah said with his powerful hand on me. He warned me not to follow the ways of these people:

We turned away from you. But soon we wanted to return. After you had punished us we hung our heads in grief. We were ashamed and disgraced because we sinned when we were young.'

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me. I am meek (mild) and humble in heart. You will have a restful life,

And he said to them: Every scribe (journalist) (writer) who has been made a disciple to the kingdom of heaven is like a man that is a householder, who brings out of his treasure things new and old.

But you did not learn Christ that way.
