²⁸ In a multitude of people is the glory of a king, but without people a prince is ruined. ²⁹ He who is slow to anger has great understanding,
But he who is quick-tempered exalts folly.
³⁰ A tranquil heart gives life to the flesh, but envy makes the bones rot.

Slow to Anger

Ecclesiastes 7:9

Be not quick in your spirit to become angry, for anger lodges in the bosom of fools.

James 1:19

Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;
