Proverbs 15:21

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly.

To make an abomination is as sport to the fool, but wisdom is recreation to the man of intelligence.

Fools speak sin unto themselves, but among the righteous there is love.

As a mad man who casts firebrands, arrows, and death,

The wise man fears and departs from evil, but the fool rages and is confident.

And unto man he said, Behold, that the fear of the Lord, is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

Resh The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; Schin A good understanding have all those that do his will; Tau His praise endures for ever.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Who is wise and ready among you? let him show out of a good conversation his works in meekness of wisdom.
