Proverbs 16:26

The soul of him that labours, labours for himself; for his mouth craves it of him.

All the labour of man is for his mouth, and with all this the appetite is not filled.

If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself; but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.

In all labour there is fruit, but to talk and not do, brings poverty.

and that ye procure to be quiet and to do your business and to work with your hands, as we commanded you,

neither did we eat any man's bread for nought, but working with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you,
