The ear that hears and the eye that sees -- the Lord has made them both.

Does the one who makes the human ear not hear? Does the one who forms the human eye not see?

The Lord said to him, "Who gave a mouth to man, or who makes a person mute or deaf or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?

Open my eyes so I can truly see the marvelous things in your law!

For this reason I speak to them in parables: Although they see they do not see, and although they hear they do not hear nor do they understand.

to open their eyes so that they turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your growing knowledge of him,
