Proverbs 23:15

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine.

For what is our hope or happiness or crown of boasting, except you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ when He comes?

for now I am really living, since you are standing firm in the Lord.

I am happy to find that some of your children are living by the truth, just as we had been commanded from the Father to do.

For I am happy to have some brothers come and testify to the truth that is in you, since you are living by the truth.

take the fattening calf and kill it, and let us feast and celebrate,

"I have told you these things, that the joy which I have had may remain in you and that your joy may be complete.

This will bring you gladness and delight, and many will rejoice over his birth.
