Proverbs 23:22

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.

There is a generation that curses its father
and does not bless its mother.

“Each of you is to respect his mother and father. You are to keep My Sabbaths; I am Yahweh your God.

For God said:

Honor your father and your mother;

and,

The one who speaks evil of father or mother
must be put to death.

When Jesus saw His mother and the disciple He loved standing there, He said to His mother, “Woman, here is your son.”

My son, keep your father’s command,
and don’t reject your mother’s teaching.
